Verse 1

Eji lobh savrāthe jiv tūṅ bhulio, Ane gaflate bhulio gem ār; T ūṅ to mārūṅ mārūṅ karto mari gayo, Teni bumb nahiṅre vā r

English meaning: O brother! You have forgotten in avarice and selfishness; o fool! You ha ve forgotten in oblivion. You died in selfishness; no one will heed to your call for help.

Verse 2

Eji ā pinḍh bharmanḍjeṇe sirajiyā, Tene kem visāro gemār; Girbhāvāsni didhi vāchā pāḷie, To chhuṭ o chār khāṇni mār

English meaning: O fool! How can you forget Him Who has created the universe of this body? Fulfill the promise made in the mother’s womb; you will be released from the tortures of the four stages of creation.

Verse 3

Eji nirmal man kari sirevie, Ane pāṅch mārine kije parkāsh; To suraj uge darshan p āmie, Evo rid āhmā rākho Ali pās

English meaning: O brother! Clean the heart and obey; shun five evils and illuminate. Keep Ali (a.s.) as close to the heart as you can see the rising sun.

Verse 4

Eji sās usāse ārādhie, J o āve prem fikarni jāl; S o nākasoṭie kasāvie, To pāmie mul apār

English meaning: O brother! If you are trapped in the snare of the concerns of worldly love, then remember Him in each breath. Gold becomes priceless when it is tested on the touchstone.

Verse 5

Eji athar vedmāṅhe em bhāṅkhiyā, Shāh māro tole munivarnāimān; Tiyāṅochhā khoṭā kāḍhi nākhshe, Jem tamboli kātri nākhe pān

English meaning: O brother! In the scriptures it is said that the Lord will test the faith of believers. The imperfect and the false ones will be discarded as the betel-leaf cutter cuts off the betel-leaf.

Verse 6

Eji kaljug vikhḍi veḷāvahe, Rikhisarn āman na rahe thar; T āre ākhrat najik jāṇjo, J āre rikhisar man māniyūṅkarshe āpṇe gher

English meaning: O brother! The Kaliyug is the flow of arduous times; the hearts of believers are not stable. When believers will become willful then know that the Day of Judgement is near.

Verse 7

Eji je satpanth lai osri gayā, Ane gur pirne devḍā vshe gāḷ; Tenu mukh di ṭhe brahm hatiyā upje, Te to pa ḍshe dozakhni jāḷ

English meaning: O brother! Those who deserted Satpanth after having accepted it and will cause the spiritual guide to be abused; seeing their face is equal to killing the Brahma. They will fall in the fire of hell.

Verse 8

Eji vilamb nahīnre vaikūṅṭh dhuṅkḍo, Hete milo munivar bhāi; M āṅho māṅhe virodh na kijie, Tame kāin khovo purav janamni kamāi

English meaning: O brother! Paradise is not far away, it is near. O believer brother! Meet lovingly amongst yourselves. Do not oppose each other; why do you waste the earnings of (your) past life?

Verse 9

Eji tenā mindarmāṅhe dhandhūkār vāpiyo, Jiyāṅimān sidaq parkāsh na hoe; Te mindar uja ḍ sūnū paḍiyū, Tiyāṅ sāch na vāpe koi

English meaning: O brother! Where the light o f true faith does not exist, darkness spreads in his heart. That heart is ravaged by desolation; there truth will not flourish.

Verse 10

Eji jāṇi joine kāeṅ hāro, Ane gaflat karo tame dūr; Nit nit darshan kijie, To hai ḍe shāhji hajūr

English meaning: O brother! Why do you lose knowingly? Shun oblivion. Always have Didar; the Lord is present in the heart.

Verse 11

Eji bhaṇe Sayyad Imām Shāh suṇo munivaro, Bhāi e chhe chhello endhāṇ; J āre koi kene mānse nahīṅ, T āre mahādan āviyo jāṇ

English meaning: O brother! Sayyid Imam Shah (r.a.) says: listen! This is the last sign. When no one will follow anyone then know that the Day of Judgement has arrived.
