Selected verses jī mālā līje manmāH ane va܃ī pīr shāhānū jāp; Gurnar donū sahī jāṇie, to poṅchīe vaikunṭh vās
English meaning: O brother! Zecite the tasbih in your heart and repeat Pir Shah. Zegard both the Pir and /mam (͚alyhis salam) as true then you will reach paradise.
jī dharam ṭhāme vāW na kijīeH ane chālvūṅ hak vahevār; SaW sab ūrī rākhīeH jem nahīṅ jāṇe soṅsār
English meaning: O brother! o not talk in the place of worship and deal honestly. Adopt truth and patience in such a way that the world remains unaware of it.
jī soṅsārmāṅhe sūThā rahīe, ane satgursūṅ rākhvo neh; Potāne hīṇa karī jāṇie, to pāmie uWWam Teh
English meaning: O brother! Zemain on the straight path in the world and love the true guide. onsider yourself as inferior then you will obtain a superior status.
jī neh na chhoḍie āpṇū, ane satgursūṅ pūrī prīt jāṇ; G a W māṅhe besī ninTā na kijīe, to pāmie uWWam ṭhām
English meaning: O brother! o not forsake your love, and foster complete love for the true guide. o not backbite while sitting in :amatkhana then you will obtain a superior status.
jī sudh budh to pāmie, ane gur ginān-no vichār; J e jīv kol pā܃seH We pāmse paele pār
English meaning: O brother! Then you will attain understanding and wisdom and also the thought of the true guide͛s knowledge (or when you will contemplate on the true guide͛s knowledge then you will obtain understanding and intellect.) He who will fulfill the promise (keep his word) will reach across to the other shore.
jī ghaṭpāṭ Whāpna kijīeH āve tetrīs karoḍ devtāe; haram tiyāṅ kijīe saWsūṅ Htiyāṅthī amrāpūrī pāe
English meaning: O brother! Set up the ghaܩpāܩ where the three hundred thirty million (ϯϯ crore) spiritual beings come. Act faithfully on religion over there, and with its blessing you will obtain paradise.
jī niyam vartāe gaWmāH tiyāṅ kijīe ekānWe vāW; M a n māṅhe jo sankā āṇso, to nahīṅ malso anatne sāWh
English meaning: O brother! The ritual of ghaܩpāܩ is performed in :amatkhana, communicate (with Mawla) in privacy over there. /f you will foster doubt in the heart, you will not be able to join the countless saved souls.
jī niyam nishānī nūrnīH va܃ī sukrit leve mok; Eiyam pīdhe jo vikh na utre, te mue na pāme mokh
English meaning: O brother! Ghaܩpāܩ is the symbol of nūr (light) and at this time also take sukrit. /f the poison of the heart is not removed after drinking āb-e-shafā, then such a person does not obtain salvation after death.
jī kumbh jal jot-thī nipnīH ane upāi nūr ja āe; T e nū bheT gāfale na jāṇeo, sahū rachīyā soṅsārmāṅhe
English meaning: O brother! b-e-Shafā has been created from nūr, and it generates nūr. The oblivious have not understood its secret, all of them were busy with worldly concern.
jī gaWmāṅhe Whāpnā WhāeH ane va܃ī gurjīne nām;:e niyam pīve premsūṅ HWeni kāyā amar ṭhām
English meaning: O brother! Ghaܩpāܩ is set up in :amatkhana in the name of the true guide. The one who lovingly partakes of āb-e-shafā, his being attains an immortal status. ϭϮ. O brother! Pir Shams (ra) says that the one who is attached with ghaܩpāܩ and the one who sets up ghaܩpāܩ HWhaW believer is a true friend.
