Abdhu man jite man ichchhāphal upje, Ane tan jite uchhrang; Har do jite ānand upje, Is bid jog pachand; Abdhu is bid jog pachand
English meaning: O saint! By conquering the heart, desired reward is obtained and by conquering the body immense happiness is obtained. By conquering the both bliss is generated. In this way yoga reaches perfection, O saint! In this way yoga reaches perfection.
Abdhu kām krodh jab jite jogi, Sat pavitra tab hoi; Chit jite chandāhove nirmalā, Nirmal sādhu sohi; Abdhu nirmal sādhu sohi
English meaning: O saint! When a yogi restr ains his carnal desires and anger he becomes true and pure. By controlling the thoughts the moon becomes pure. That sādhu is clean and pure, O saint! That sādhu is clean and pure.
