Eji mānkhājanam te dehi dhari, Temāna samajio sat ginan; Be pirūṅpār na pāie, Temāna jaḍe satgur shāh
English meaning: O brother! In human life you adopted a body, in it you did not understand the true ginan. Without a Pir one will not go across, such cannot obtain the Satgur Imam.
Eji māyāmamtāchhoḍie, Ane lijie vivek vichār; To gur male pherāṭaḷe, Pachhe ānand no nahiṅpār
English meaning: O brother! Shun the love of the world and be prudent and wise, then you will obtain the Pir and the cycles of life and death will be over. After that there will be infinite happiness.
Eji jāgine jikar ja lijie, Teni raheṇi rahi re samtol; Timir hoe to ṭaḷi paḍe, Shaṇgār jaḍshe sol
English meaning: O brother! Whoever stays awake and remembers the Name, his night passes in peace. The darkness will be removed and full adornment will be obtained.
Eji sol shaṇgār sajie, Teno vasmo chhe ghāṭ; Prem arpaṇkijie, To male satgurni vāṭ
English meaning: O brother! Bedeck (yourself) with adornments (because) that path is arduous. Offer love then the path of the Satgur will be found.
Eji dharam phande rāchiyā, Temādām lidhāno javāb; Dāsi kero dikro, Te kene keshe bāp
English meaning: O brother! Fraud has spread in religion, whoever is entrapped into it will have to answer. Whom the son of a slave will call his father?
Eji garthe te arath na sidhiyā, Ane garath ma sancho koi; Sahi garath dil lijie, Je gurni raheṇie hoi
English meaning: O brother! With wealth the objective cannot be reached and do not accumulate wealth. Consider the heart as the real wealth then you will dwell with the Pir.
Eji raheṇie rahie mārāmunivaro, Jemādāg na lāge koi; Sansār saghḷo durmati, Bhāi phand ja jāṇo sohi
English meaning: O my momins! Remain with the Pir then no harm will be caused. This whole world is evil-minded. O brother, think of it as fraudulent.
Eji koik ja virlājāṇie, Je samje satni sān; Sarvamāsāheb vasi rahiyā, Paṇkapaṭe na upje ginān
English meaning: O brother! There is hardly anyone who understands the truth. The Lord dwells in everybody but with fraud ginan cannot be obtained.
Eji kapaṭange parvariyā, Tame lio satgur maram; Jo murshid divo jugmāmale, To pargaṭchhe paribrahm
English meaning: O brother! Fraudulence has spread in the body, obtain the secret of the Satgur. If the lamp of the Pir is obtained in the world then God is manifest.
Eji eve hete satpanth sirevie, Paṇjikare jaḍshe ṭhām; Sayyad Imam Shah em bhaṇe, Tame tajo te karodh ne kām
English meaning: O brother! With such love follow Satpanth, but with remembrance of the Name a (spiritual) status is obtained. Sayyid Imam Shah (r.a.) says thus: shun anger and carnal desires.
