Moman jene sirajiyātene varjoji

English meaning: O believer! Who hath cre ated, belong only to Him.

Verse 2

Nahīṅ varsho to jugmāṅhe hārshoji

English meaning: If (you) will not belong to Him then you will lose in the world.

Tame kol tamārāsambhāroji

English meaning: Remember your promise.

Verse 4

Veḷāpotine chetine chāloji

English meaning: The time has come, act cautiously.

Tame dharam māragmāṅhe chāloji

English meaning: Remain on the path of religion.

Verse 6

Tame jugmāṅhe prāchhat ṭāḷoji

English meaning: In the world keep away from sins.

Veḷāchoghaḍie gur kahe chhe re ji

English meaning: In auspicious times the spiritual guide is telling you.

Karḍo rūp dhari shāhābesshe ji

English meaning: Adopting a dignified guis e the Lord will be seated.

Satpanthmāṅhe kashṭi desheji

English meaning: In Satpanth he will put (one) to trial.

Sati hoeshe te kashṭi sahesheji

Kas detā duniyāmāṅhe bhulsheji

Jem māṭimāṅhe pāṇi bhiḍsheji

English meaning: As soil mixes with water.

Jeṇe kiriyāchālis na pāḷiji

English meaning: Whoever did not perform the forty deeds;

Jeṇe jāṇi kiriyāna pāḷiji

English meaning: Whoever did not perform the deeds purposely;

Kiriyādā hiṇāte nūr na pidhāji

English meaning: He who is without deeds has not partaken of N ūr.

Nūr pidhā paṇ lāḍna lidhāji

English meaning: (He) partook of N ūr but was not delighted.

Koḍi damḍi te dharamni daieji

Koḍi damḍi daine kunjar lijeji

English meaning: Give a penny and take the reward of (giving) a horse.

Koḍi damḍi vinākunjar hāroji

English meaning: Without (giving) a penny you will lose the reward of (giving) a horse.

Sati lokne bharaṇ bharāvsheji

English meaning: (He) will fulfill th e hopes of the pious.

Sat rākho to satgurne milieji

English meaning: Keep truth so that y ou meet the true guide.

Partham kiriyāāchār tame pāḷoji

English meaning: Firstly perform the religious deeds.

Kiriyā pāḷe te moman hoveji

English meaning: Whoever performs religious deeds is a momin.

Karṇi kije to satgur milieji

English meaning: Perform good deeds then you will meet the true guide.

Satgur jugājug kahiyāji

English meaning: The spiritual guide has said so in each era.

Sarjiyāhoe to satgurne milieji

English meaning: You have been born then meet the true guide.

Satgure satpanth dekhāḍiyāji

English meaning: The true guide has shown t he Satpanth (true path).

Satgur vināto jivḍo na chhuṭeji

English meaning: Without the true guide the soul will not be saved.

Satgur vinā to khaṇna sujeji

English meaning: Without the true guide nothing can be discerned.
