moman māhādan āvse Sayyad Imam Shah (ra) (Selected verses) Ejīmoman māhādan āvse, sāheb lese hisāb; Iyāṅ-nāk īdhākartap pūchhse, tāre tolse pun ne pāp
English meaning: O believer brother! The Day of Judgment will come (when) The Lord will take account. He will question about the deeds done in this world, (and) virtue and vice will be weighed.
Ejīpun pāp to tiyāṅtolse, ane lekho sācho chhe tyāṅe; Satgur sāthe sudhāchāliye, to jālse āpṇībāṅe
English meaning: O brother! Virtue and vice will be weighed there and the account taken there will be correct. Walk with the true guide virtuously, then he will hold our hand.
Ejīiyāṅbāṅjāliyānīlāj chhe, to āle vaikunṭhv ās; Ekoter āgal jāībes-se, ane bes-se sāhebjīne pās
English meaning: O brother! If he will hold our hand here then our honour will be saved and will grant a place in heaven. Seventy-one generations will sit in the front and will sit next to the Lord.
Ejīvaikunṭhmāṅhe ek virakh chhe, teṇe saghlī amrāpūrīchhāī; Tenūnām kalap virakh chhe, tame suṇo moman bhāi
English meaning: O brother! There is a tree in the heaven whose shade is spread to the whole of heaven. Listen O believer brother! Its name is Kalap Tree.
Ejī tiyāṅsavāman-nū ār bhogavso, ane neār nahīṅ tiyāṅhoe; Tiyāṅsūtāre beṭhā koī nahīṅ, tiyāṅ jīkar kare sab koī
English meaning: O brother! There each one will be served with one and a quarter mound (plenty) of food, and no one will be hungry there. No one will be asleep or seated there; everyone will be doing zikr.
Ejī tiyāṅsonānī īṅṭe ghar chaṇāvīyā, Temāṅhe chūṇī chhe kastūrīnīgār; Tiyāṅevāte mohol sāheb ālse, tenīsobhānūant na pār
English meaning: O brother! The houses there will be constructed with golden bricks and musk will be used as clay. The Lord will grant such palaces over there whose beauty will be infinite.
Ejīmāṇak motīnīdalie kuṅvar khelse, sovan geḍītene hāth; Evāpāṅchso kuṅvar āngaṇe khelse, bāvāevāchhe vaikunṭhv ās
English meaning: O brother! Princes will play with balls of diamonds and pearls, in their hands will be a bat of gold. Five hundred such princes will play in the porch; O brother! Heaven is such a place!
Ejī lākhmāṅe ek lakhpatī, ane sehestramāṅhe ek satī jāṇ; Je iyāṅsatpanth pūro sevse, te tiyāṅ padvīpāme nīrvāṇ
English meaning: O brother! Amongst one hundred thousand people there will be one person who will own one hundred thousand, and among one thousand there will be one believer. The one who will perfectly follow Satpanth here will certainly obtain an excellent status there.
Ejīgunegārone tiyāṅmārse, ane te pāḍse bahūsor; Tene hāthe page ghāle beḍīyūṅ, ane ubhār ākhe jem chor
English meaning: O brother! Sinners will be beaten up there and they will shout out much. Their hands will be tied with fetters and they will be presented like thieves.
Ejībhaṇe Sayyad Imam Shaha suṇo munivaro, Ane satgure kahīsāchīsākh; Satīloko satpanth sirevjo, tame jīkar karo din ne rāt
English meaning: Sayyad Imam Shah (ra) says: Listen O believers! The spiritual guide has revealed true sign; O virtuous believers! Follow the true path and remember (the name) day and night.
