Verse 1
Ho jīo jīre bhāi moro man hastī, hastīsache shāhāsūṅre; Hīnḍhe hīnḍhe ramat e karantā. Ho jīo jīre bhāi a kas dejo, dejo jīv āpṇe re; Rakhe jīvnarage e paḍantā
English meaning: O my brother! May you live long! My heart is gently ecstatic wi th the true Lord in joy and pride. O my brother! May you live long! Put to the test; put your soul to the test lest the soul goes to hell.
Verse 2
Ho jīo jīre bhāi bhore man sirevo, sirevo sāmī āpṇo re; Bhore mane nahīṅhoe viṇās. Ho jīo jīre bhāi āchhe dharame chālo, chālo yārāmomano re. Ho jīo jīre bhāi tan karīo pāṭan, man karīo mānḍhvire; Temāṅhe jīvḍo vaṇjaṇbhale āyā. Ho jīo jīre bhāi raiyaṇv i y ā ṇ ī, sāmīrājo āvse re; Hoese halhalkār ho jīo
English meaning: O my brother! May you live long ! Obey with a pure heart, obey your Lord. If you will keep your heart pure then you will not have to bear loss. O my brother! May you live long! O believer friends! Proceed with pure deeds. O my brother! May you live long! Make a city of your body, make a canopy of your heart; the soul has come graciously to trade in it. O my brother! May you live long! The night has passed away, the Lord king will arrive, and there will be a great uproar.
Verse 3
Ho jīo jīre bhāi āchhīraj lāgī, lāgīyārābhamarḍe re; Sāraj lāgīgaganḍe. Jiyūṅpinḍhaḍībhavan ho jīo
English meaning: O my brother! May you live long! A good windstorm blew. This d ust started spiraling; that dust reached up to the sky. O my brother! May you live long! In this way my heart became attached, became attached to the true Lord as if my body ascended to heavens.
Verse 4
Ho jīo jīre bhāi baglāte bese, bese sir dhartīer e; Hanslāte kare shāhānīsirevā. Ho jīo jīre bhāi nāt parnāte, vīrābhāi paraṇse re; Āgam taṇāe endhāṇ. Ho jīo jīre bhāi āgam nar, nar Ali uṭhse re; Sāheb kal thapāvanhar re ho jīo jī
English meaning: O my brother! May you live long! The cranes keep sitting, keep sitting on the floor and the swan serve the Lord. O my brother! May you live long! (One) will leave our caste and marry with outsiders. These are the signs of the future. O my brother! May you live long! In the era to come he Lord Ali (as) will become manifest, The Lord will establish Kaliyuga.
Verse 5
Ho jīo jīre bhāi bhirāmaṇnātrāgā, trāgājāre truṭse, hoese ekākār. Ho jīo jīre bhāi trāmbāvaraṇū vīrābhāiugamse re; Tenī kalājāese paiyār ho jīo
English meaning: O my brother! May you live long! When the janois (strings) of th e Brahmins will snap they all will be alike. O my brother! May you live long! The copper like sun will dawn; its rays will reach the lowest regions of the earth.
Verse 6
Ho jīo jīre bhāi māi ne beṭo nav oḷakhse re; Evo āvīyo khoṭo kalikār ho jīo
English meaning: O my brother! May you live long! Son will not recognize mother; such a fraudulent Kaliyuga has come.
Verse 7
Ho jīo jīre bhāi hūṅbalihārī, hārī tinī momane re; Je moman muj balihārī. Ho jīo jīre bhāi tinī momane sir serā, serājabkan; Se moman muj gale hār ho jīo jī
English meaning: O My brother! May you live long! May I lay down my life; sacrif ice my life for the believer who sacrifices himself/herself for me. O my brother! May you live long! The chaplet glows on the believer’s head, that believer is the garland of my neck.
Verse 8
Ho jīo jīre bhāi rūpākerābājoṭh, sovan kerī gale mālā; Ho jīo jīre bhāi gur Sohodev siche, siche āhīṅgat piyore; Sāmī rājo gunābaksaṇhār. Ho jīo jīre bhāi bhore mane sirevo
English meaning: O my brother! May you live long! A small stool of silver and a string of gold around the neck. O my brother! May you live long! Gur Sohdev (ra) irrigates, O Jamats partake of it; the Lord king is the forgiver of sins. O my brother! May you live long! Obey with a pure heart.
