Verse 1

nar nakalank keri vāt koik jāṇeji Nar nakalank keri vāt koik jāṇeji, Jene satgur miliyā sār sohi pichhāṇeji

English meaning: Hardly anybody knows the reality of Ali (a.s.). Only he who has found the true spiritual guide can recognize.

Verse 2

Satgur sat kari jāṇ Mahammad rupeji, Āj nirinjan shāh sadāe Ali rupeji

English meaning: Consider the true spiritual guide as true who is in the guise of Muhammad (s.a.s). Today that Incomprehensible Lord is in the guise of Ali (a.s.).

Verse 3

Shāh beṭhā pāchham desh ajami rupeji, Shāh bole chhe fārsiven sentar dipeji

English meaning: The Lord is seated in the western country in a non- Arab guise. The Lord speaks the Persian language in Iran.

Verse 4

Tenu shaher Bābakmāṭhām partak rupeji, Tenu Shāh Avval Hasan Ali nām sundar rupeji

English meaning: His residence is in the city of Babak where he is manifest. His name is Awwal Hasan Ali Shah (a.s.) who is very handsome.

Verse 5

Japie tenū jāp alakh chhe āpeji, Shāha pure chhe manni hām darshan āpeji

English meaning: Remember his name; he is incomprehensible. The Lord fulfills the hopes of the heart and grants Didar.

Verse 6

Darshan sārā kām pherā chhuṭeji, Jeṇe gur upar rākhiyāimān sohi chhuṭāji

English meaning: Didar is such a great blessing that it saves from the cycles of birth and death. He who has faith in the spiritual guide, is saved.

Verse 7

Bhagatūṅtaṇo bharthār sāmi hamāroji, Tame kirpāk aro mora shāh gatiyūṅ tāroji

English meaning: Our Lord is the Lord of devotees. O My Lord! Have mercy and grant salvation to the jamats.

Verse 8

Nābh kamaḷghaṭmāṅhe sohang uṭheji, Tesūṅkije tāṇsatāṇ tār na ṭuṭeji

English meaning: The remembrance of the Name rises from the umbilicus in the body. Remember it in such a way that the link is not broken.

Verse 9

Āpṇāinglā pinglā sār sukhmaṇā nāḍiji, Tesūṅdharie surat dhiyān manchhā māriji

English meaning: Our Ingl ā, Pingl āand Sushumnā nerves are good. Concentrate on them and control the desires.

Verse 10

Tesūṅ vanknāḍ mukām kharākari rākhoji, Te chandāsuraj sūṅjoi nitnit rākhoji

English meaning: See Him in the light of t he sun and the moon i.e. Inglā and Pinglā; properly maintain the place of vanknāḍ.

Verse 11

Tesūṅsurat rākho to bharmanḍ phuṭi nisreji, Tenu rome rome chhe nām koi na visreji

English meaning: Concentrate on it then the door to spiritual world will open. His name is simply in every hair of the body that no one can forget.

Verse 12

Shamsi Sayyad Fateh Ali dās ubhā vinveji, Āgā tārācharaṇni sev kanchan varseji

English meaning: Your servant Shamsi Sayyad Fateh Ali (r.a.) stands and entreats. O Lord! Gold pours in your obeisance (or service).
