Verse 1

Sayyid Fateh Ali Sh navrojnā din sohāmaṇā āh (r.a.) Ejī N a v r o j nā din sohāmaṇā, SrīAlī Kāyam shikār ramvā van gayā; Sevaknā man thayā udāsī, PrāṇAlī charaṇerahiyā

English meaning: O brother! It was the beautiful day of Navroz when my Qaim Lord Ali (a.s.) went to jungle for hunting. The heart of this servant became melancholic but the soul remained at the feet of Ali (a.s.).

Verse 2

EjīSrī Kāyam prite jo chint bāndhi, Narne prite ame van gayā; Evā van sohāmṇānar kāyam diṭhā, Ḍelā dai devantārahiyā

English meaning: O brother! We were so overwhelmed by the love of the Lord Qaim (a.s.) that we also reached the jungle in his love. We saw the Imam (a.s.) in that scenic jungle. It was such a beautiful scene that even the angels were offering their lives for sacrifice.

Verse 3

Ejī bhalūṅ thayūṅ sāhebe sūmat ālī, Shāh Alī Kāyam sāthe ramvāame van gayā; Anant āshā pūrī amārī, Shāh dil bhāve gamiyā

English meaning: O brother! How nice it was that the Lord gave us the understanding that we also went to jungle with Qaim Lord Ali (a.s.) to play. Many of our desires were fulfilled and our hearts became saturated with his love.

Verse 4

Ejīhete Alīsūṅ hirakh bāndhyo, Avichal rang sāhebse girahiyā; Evi chit bāndhīnar kāyam sāthe, Sat bhanḍār motīe bhariyā

English meaning: O brother! We received immense happiness in the love of Ali (a.s.) and we attained from him the eternal colour. Our thoughts were so attached with the Qaim Lord that as if we received the treasures of reality.

Verse 5

Ejīame sāheb sāthe sahel kidhā, Ridh sidhaj p āmiyā; Ek man gin ān je sāmbhḷe, Ā jīv tenā odhariyā

English meaning: O brother! We travelled with our Lord and received many worldly and spiritual happiness. He who listens to Ginan attentively his soul will attain salvation.

Verse 6

Ejī jīv jyāre jugat pāme, Prāṇ pope ram rahiyā; Agar chandan prem rasiyā, Hete hans sarovar jhiliy ā

English meaning: O brother! When the soul gets the true way of worship then it blooms like flower. His existence becomes saturated with the fragrance of love like sandal-wood and his soul enjoys in the lake of reality.

Verse 7

Ejī Gaḍh Chakvāne kille Shāh Khalilullāh rame, Tyāṅ Fateh Alīne mayākarīne bolāvīyā; Anant ā shā pūrīamārī, Nit Alī nūre uṭhiyā

English meaning: O brother! Once Imam Khalilullah Ali (a.s.) was relaxing in the fort of Chakwa when he called Fatehali with his mercy. My uncountable desires were fulfilled and his Nūr was always flowing.

Verse 8

Ejī bhāire momano tame bhāve ārādho, BhāṇeS h a m sītame sāmbhḷo rukhī; S āhebnāguṇnahīṅ visāre, Tenā prāṇnahīṅthāshe dukhī

English meaning: O brother! Sayyid Shamsi (r.a.) says: O momins! Remember the Lord with love. He who does not forget the blessings of the Lord, his soul will never be unhappy.
