Eji prem pāṭān rājāmanshūdh, tis ghar radiyāde rāṇi
English meaning: O brother! In Prem P āṭaṇ(the city of love) Man Shudh (pure mind) is the king. In his house Ridiy-āde (heart) is the queen.

English meaning: O brother! The order (or command) of the spiritual guide came; how can one wait now?
Hukam āviyo jaṇbe taṇo, trijo kem levāe
English meaning: The order came for two persons, how can the third be taken along?
Bāḷak poḍhāḷiyo satie pāraṇe, chāliyāshāhne duār
English meaning: The sati (female devotee, the queen) put the child to sleep in the cradle and set out towards the court of the Lord.
Ardhi meṅjale rāeji āviyā, tiyāṅ harṇi dhavrāve bāḷ
English meaning: The king reached halfway, there the doe suckled her young one (or kid).
Bāḷak dekhine bāine pān o cha ḍiyo, teṇe tajiyāprāṇ
English meaning: Seeing the kid the queen’s maternal instincts were aroused and she died.

English meaning: Lamps of gold glittered ahead and the Lord of the three worlds was seated.
Uṭho radiyāde rāṇi ami piyo, khoḷe dhavrāvo bāḷ
English meaning: O Queen Ridiy āde! Rise and drink the nectar; take the child in (your) lap and suckle it.
Pir Shams gāzi boliyā, sāmbhḷo gat jamāt
