Verse 1

Ejīsāmīrājo āve jangīḍhol vajāve, Chaudise chandruṇāhuā, Re ho prāṇīyāqāyamjīne ārādho, Alakh purakhne ma visāro, Shāh purakhne re sambhāro, Re ho prāṇīyā qāyamjīne ārādho

English meaning: O man! The Lord King is arriving and the royal drums are being beaten. There is light all around. O man! Obey the Qaim. Do not forget that incomprehensible Lord. Remember the Lord. O brother, obey the Qaim.

Verse 2

Ejī namṇi ne khamṇi vīrāhasīhasīmilṇā, Kām krodh doe tajo, re ho prāṇīyā…

English meaning: O man! With humility and forgiveness, meet smilingly. Forsake both carnal desires and anger.

Verse 3

Ejī kāeṅdhan sancho vīrāsonāne rūpā, Māl dhan huaḍāe birānā, re ho prāṇīyā…

English meaning: O man! Why accumulate gold, silver and wealth? This wealth and treasure will belong to others.

Verse 4

Ejī kāchīterīkāyāprāṇīg āṅṭh ganṭhāṇi, Annase bāndhīterīkāyā, re ho prāṇīyā«

English meaning: O man! Your body is tied with weak knots. Your body is bound to food.

Verse 5

Ejī kāyānagrīmāṅhe ek chor ḍhūke chhe, Ḍhūktākeṇe nav diṭhā, re ho prāṇīyā«

English meaning: O man! A thief is sneaking into the city of the body. No one saw (him) sneaking.

Verse 6

Ejī pahelālīdhākoṭvīrānav darvājā, Pachhīlīdho kāyākero hans, re ho prāṇīyā«

English meaning: O man! At first (he) conquered the nine doors of this fort. Then (he) seized the soul of the body.

Verse 7

Ejī lūṅṭīterīnagrīvīra huire chobārī, Khetra khaḍaslāhuā, re ho prāṇīy ā«

English meaning: O man! Your city was plundered and destroyed, and (your) fields were ruined.

Verse 8

Ejī māṭīre miṭḍīmāṅhe riḍībhiḍījāeshe, Kalar khāeshe terīdehā, re ho prāṇīyā«

English meaning: O man! The dust will mix with the dust and the barren land will devour your body.

Verse 9

Ejī hāḍkāre ūpar vīrābhāīpavan jareshe, Jhājhāvarsegāmegh, re ho prāṇīyā«

English meaning: O man! The wind will blow on the bones and it will rain heavily.

Verse 10

Ejī e ginān mahāras Pīr bhaṇāve Sadardīn, E ginān amīras mīṭhā, re ho prāṇīyā«

English meaning: O man! This full of wisdom ginan has been said by Pir Sadardin (r.a.). This ginan is very sweet.
