Verse 1

Ejī sāmī rājo more manthī na visrejī, To suno suno moman rahyā, ho jīre bhaiyā

English meaning: O believer brother listen! The Lord King cannot be forgotten from my heart.

Verse 2

Ejī terī merī sāīyāṅek man ek chit, Sāmī rājo bharpūr rahyā, ho jīre bhaiyā

English meaning: O beloved! Your heart and thought are one with mine. O brother! The Lord King is present everywhere.

Verse 3

Ejī Shāh taṇā abhiyāgat āve vīrā, Tinkūṅmeṅ lāgungī paiyā, ho jīre bhaiyā

English meaning: O brother! The guest who comes from the Lord, I will fall at his feet.

Verse 4

Ejī āpe uṭhī tene besaṇ dīje vīrā, Soi tamārā dharam lakhaiyā, ho jīre bhaiyā

English meaning: O brother! Get up and give him a place to sit; this is very much your religious duty.

Verse 5

Ejīlai loṭo tenā pāuṅ dhoije vīrā, Sir par tel kangaiyā, ho jīre bhaiyā

English meaning: O brother! Take a pitcher and wash his feet; oil and comb his hair.

Verse 6

Ejī khīr ne khānḍ grath amrat bhojan vīrā, Sant taṇe mukhe daiyā, ho jīre bhaiyā

English meaning: O brother! Serve milk, sugar, purified butter and delicious food in the presence of this saint.

Verse 7

Ejī ḍholiye taḷaiye tene poḍhaṇ dije vīrā, Jhīṇā jhīṇā vāho ḍholaiyā, ho jīre bhaiyā

English meaning: O brother! Offer him to sleep on a grand bedspread and fan (him) gently.

Verse 8

Ejī chāre satiyūṅ shāhnā mangal gāve vīrā, Motīḍe chok puraiyā, ho jīre bhaiyā

English meaning: O brother! All four pious ladies are singing songs of the Lord with happiness and are scattering pearls.

Verse 9

Ejī eso ginān Pīr bhaṇāve Sadardīn vīrā, Mere moman bhāiku bahesht likhaiyā, Ho jīre bhaiyā

English meaning: O brother! Pir Sadardin (r.a.) says such a Ginan; paradise has been destined for my believer brothers.
