Satgur Sun Prit Bandhaere

Verse 1

Ejī satgursūṅ prīt bandhāere, Kijīye kirat ja sārjī

Verse 2

Ejī satgur sireviyā jeṇe ek man, Tenā sīdhā kājjī

English meaning: O brother! Whoever remembe red the true spiritual guide with concentration, his tasks were achieved or he was successful.

Verse 3

Ejī milo moman mere bhāī, Ne milī kariyo vichārji

English meaning: O my believer brother! Meet together and reflect.

Verse 4

Ejī pūrav pūne satpanth pāmiyā, Te panth chhe khanḍānī dhārjī

English meaning: O brother! As a result of past earnings you obtained the Satpanth (true path). This path is like the edge of a sword.

Verse 5

Ejīkar joḍī bando kargarere, Sāheb sāmbhḷo ardāsjī

English meaning: O brother! The slave entreats with folded hands: O Lord, pay heed to my request.

Verse 6

Ejī eso ginān Pīr bhaṇe Hasan Shāh, Sāheb gatiye var truṭhājī

English meaning: O brother! Pir Hasan Shah (r.a.) says such a Ginan; the Lord was pleased with the Jamat.
