Verse 1
Suno suno momano sunī man lāvnā PīrShams (ra) Suno suno momano sunīman lāvnā, sūnne sarīkhībātiyāj ī; Qayāmatkāḍar bahot man lāvnā, āp ḍarāvo chhātiyāj ī; Ākhe NabīMuhammad Jibril kūṅ, ketīber hae tūje ānāj ī; Muj pichhe dunīyāme, ketīber hae tūje ānāj ī; Ākhe Jibrāil suno NabīMuhammad, das ber hae muje ānāj ī
English meaning: O believers! Listen; listen and keep it in your heart; these facts are worth listening to. Fear the Day of Judgment in your heart, fear in the core of your heart. The Holy Prophet Hazrat Nabi Muhammad (sallallahu µalayhi wa ālihi wa sallam) asks Jibrail (Gabriel) as to how many times will you come? How many times will you come to the world after me? Jibrail (Gabriel) replied: O Prophet Muhammad (saas)! Listen! I have to come ten times.
Verse 2
Pahelībārs u n oyāMuhammad, phir kar hae muje ānāj ī; Pahelībār maeṅphir kar āungā, so barkat lene kāje jī; Dunīyāmese barkat le jāunga, so na raheve kuchh bākī jī
English meaning: O Prophet Muhammad (saas)! Listen! The first time I have to r eturn. The first time when I return I will (come to) take away barkat (abundance) with me. I will take away barkat (abundance) from the world then nothing will remain.
Verse 3
Dujībār suno yāMuhammad, phir kar hae muje ānāj ī; Dujībār maeṅphir phir kar āungā, so mahobat lene kāje jī; Dunīyāmese mahobat le jāungā, sab be mahobat ho jāve jī
English meaning: O Prophet Muhammad (saas)! Listen! The second time I have to return. The second time when I return I will (come to) take away love with me. I will take away love from the world (and) everyone will be devoid of love.
Verse 4
Tīsrībār suno yāMuhammad, phir kar hae muje ānāj ī; Tīsrībār maeṅphir kar āungā, so rahemat lene kāje jī; Dunīyāmese rahemat le jāungā, so kaṇochhāt i y ā ṅpāke jī
English meaning: O Prophet Muhammad (saas)! Listen! The third time I have to r eturn. The third time when I return I will (come to) take away mercy with me. I will take away mercy from the world then the yield from crops will be less.
Verse 5
Chothībār suno yāMuhammad, phir kar hae muje ānāj ī; Chothībār maeṅphir kar āungā, so sharam lene kāje jī; Aurat maradse sharam le jāungā, sab dhorār ītāhove jī
English meaning: O Prophet Muhammad (saas)! Listen! The fourth time I have to return. The fourth time when I return I will (come to) take away shame with me. I will take away shame from men and women (then) everybody will become like animals.
Verse 6
Pāṅchvībār suno yāMuhammad, phir kar hae muje ānāj ī; Pāṅchvībār maeṅphir kar āungā, so sakhāvat lene kāje jī; Dolatmandse sakhāvat le jāungā, so na raheve kuchh bākī jī
English meaning: O Prophet Muhammad (saas)! Listen! The fifth time I have to re turn. The fifth time when I return I will (come to) take away generosity with me. I will take away generosity from the wealthy; then nothing will remain.
Verse 7
Chhatṭhṭhī bār suno yāMuhammad, phir kar hae muje ānā jī; Chhatṭhṭhī bār maeṅphir kar āungā, so īmān lene kāje jī; Ʈmānī to koī koī hovenge, sab be īmānī ho jāve jī
English meaning: O Prophet Muhammad (saas)! Listen! The sixth time I have to r eturn. The sixth time when I return I will (come to) take away faith with me. Hardly any faithful will remain; all will become faithless.
Verse 8
Sātvī bār suno yāMuhammad, phir kar hae muje ānā jī; Sātvī bār maeṅphir kar āungā, so kol lene kāje jī; Rājā to bekolī hovenge, so diyākol na pāḷe jī
English meaning: O Prophet Muhammad (saas)! Listen! The seventh time I have to return. The seventh time when I return I will (come to) take away the promise or word with me. The kings (rulers) break their promises; they will not fulfill their promises.
Verse 9
Āthvī bār suno yāMuhammad, phir kar hae muje ānā jī; Āthvī bār maeṅphir kar āungā, so adal lene kāje jī; Bādshāhoṅse adal le jāungā, so zulam hove ṭhāmo ṭhām jī
English meaning: O Prophet Muhammad (saas)! Listen! The eighth time I have to return. The eighth time when I return I will (come to) take away justice with me. I will take away justice from the kings (rulers); so there will be oppression everywhere.
Verse 10
Navmī bār suno yāMuhammad, phir kar hae muje ānā jī; Navmī bār maeṅphir kar āungā, so sabar lene kāje jī; Dunīyāmese sabar le jāungā, sab be sabar ho jāve jī
English meaning: O Prophet Muhammad (saas)! Listen! The ninth time I have to return. The ninth time when I return I will (come to) take away tolerance with me. I will take away patience from the world; so everybody will become intolerant.
Verse 11
Dasvī bār suno yāMuhammad, phir kar hae muje ānā jī; Dasvī bār maeṅphir kar āungā, so Qurān lene kāje jī; Dunīyāmese Qurān le jāungā, so na raheve kuchh bākī jī
English meaning: O Prophet Muhammad (saas)! Listen! The tenth time I have to return. The tenth time when I return I will (come to) take away the Holy Qur’an with me. I will take away the Holy Qur’an from the world, and then nothing will remain.
Verse 12
Ālam koī būje nāhīṅ, sab jāhel ho jāve jī; Ilamku koī būje nāhīṅ, sab libās kapḍe pahechāne jī; Reshmī kapḍe pahenkar āve, use khudākar māne jī; E dase batīyāṅ sahī kar būjo, cheto bhāi saverā jī; Dunīyāmese barkat, mahobat, sharam esī dase bātiyāṅchaliyaṅ, Tab qayāmatkī nīshānī jī; Pīr Shams Qalandar iyūn kahiyā, āyāQayam Shahakāvārā jī
English meaning: No one will recognize the scholar; everybody will become ignorant. No one will recognize knowledge; everybody will acknowledge clothes and attire. Whosoever will be clad in silken clothes will be considered a god. Think of these ten things as truth. O brother! Be vigilant. When ten virtues like abundance, love, shame will go away from the world then that will be the sign of the Day of Judgment. Pir Shams (ra) Qalandar says that the time of Qaim Shah (as) has come.
