Verse 1

Sāmi mārāji uṇiyābi uṇiyāame kiriyānāhiṇā, To amne chhe āsh tamāriyāji

English meaning: O My Lord! We are incomplete, imperfect, we are without deeds. We have hope only from you.

Verse 2

Sāmi mārāji jugāre jug tero thān thānotar, Ham dil sāmi rājātūhi vase ji

English meaning: O My Lord! From ages you are the Lord of this place. O Lord King! Only you reside in our heart.

Verse 3

Sāmi mārāji traṇjugmāsāmi tame var dātā, Āj chothākaljugmāsāmi rājābhale avtariyāji

English meaning: O My Lord! In three yugas you were the promise giver. O Lord King! Today in the fourth Kaliyuga it is very well that you are manifest.

Verse 4

Sāmi mārāji hariyāso hariyāne sukābi hariyā, Jo hove najar tamāriyāji

English meaning: O My Lord! The verdant is verdant but if you cast your eyes, even the withered become verdant.

Verse 5

Sāmi mārāji miṭhāso miṭhāne kaḍvābhi miṭhā, To āg urke vachane phal miṭhḍā ji

English meaning: O My Lord! Sweet is sweet but with the commands of the Pir even the bitter fruit will become sweet.

Verse 6

Sāmi mārāji bhariyāsarovar bharpur bhariyā, Vaṇre vachane kem pijie ji

English meaning: O My Lord! The full lake is full to the brim but without the command how can (one) drink?

Verse 7

Sāmi mārāji tame bhariyāso ame sir upar dhariyā, Tame farmāyāame sohi kiyāji

English meaning: O My Lord! What you filled we carried on our head. Whatever you commanded we carried it out exactly.

Verse 8

Bhāi mārāji māṇak laine tame māṇak vaṇjo, Evā vaṇaj bhalerā sāchā shāhjisūṅkijie ji

English meaning: O My brother! Take diamonds and gems, and trade in diamonds and gems. Conduct good business with the true Lord.

Verse 12

Bhāi mārāji hāl siṅhāsaṇmāl dhan, To ānām sāhebjike dijie ji

English meaning: O My brother! Your throne, wealth and riches, all your possessions, give them in the name of the Lord.

Verse 13

Bhāi mārāji rāj pāṭgaḍh meḍiyābi didhiyā, To ādiyānām sāheb taṇe ji

English meaning: O My brother! They gave away everything - kingdoms, forts, buildings. They gave in the name of the Lord.

Verse 19

Bhāi mārāji chothākaljugmāmeḍo bār karoḍiyā, Tenjo mukhi Pir Sadardinne sāhebe bhale thāpiyāji

English meaning: O My brother! In the fourth era of Kaliyuga there is a concourse of hundred and twenty millions (twelve crore) momins. Bravo! The Lord has appointed Pir Sadardin (r.a.) as their Mukhi.

Verse 20

Bhāi mārāji hāl vāeke apnāsāhebne sireviyā, āhne japiyā, Teṇe dasond sāhebjine āliyāji

English meaning: O My brother! He served his Lord according to his capacity, remembered the name of Pir Shah and paid Dasond to the Lord.

Verse 21

Bhāi mārāji āj phaḷtār veḷāmāmeḍo anant karo ḍiyā, Tenjo mukhi gur Hasan Kabirdin sāheb bhale thāpiyāji

English meaning: O My brother! Today in the Pha ḷtār era there is a concourse of countless momins. Bravo! The Lord has appointed Pir Hasan Kabirdin (r.a.) as their Mukhi.

Verse 22

Bhāi mārāji eso ginan Pir bhaṇāve Sadardin Bārgurki vāchā, To a kalme shāh alakh lakhāyāji

English meaning: O My brother! Pir Sadardin (r.a.) says this ginan, which are the words of Bārgur. Today in Kaliyuga that Incomprehensible Lord is manifest.
