English meaning: O man! Get up and sit (in meditation), why are you asleep? Your sleeping is not beneficial. Your Shah Pir never sleep, then why does sleeping please you? Your Mawla never sleeps, then why does sleeping please you? Your sleeping is not beneficial.

Khaṭ ghaḍī to pāchhlī jāgo, cheto munivar bhāī; Sarag bhavanthī hūrāṅ āvī, nūrnāpyālālāī; terā…

English meaning: O momin brother! Get alert and stay awake in the last six ghaḍis of the night. The houries have come from paradise and have brought along a bowl of Nūr.

Shūrā hoe to raheṇī jāgo, cheto mere bhāī; Nūrnā pyālā mukhe lagāyā, purav tenī kamāī; terā

English meaning: O my brother! If you are bra ve then keep awake at night and be careful. Those who have past earnings took the bowl of Nūr to their lips.

Zikare jāgo bandagī māngo, zikar karo ilāhī; Kharī dasondī gatnā meḷā, hājar beṭhāsāiṅ;terā

English meaning: Wake up in zikr, be eager for Bandagi and do zikr of Allah. Offer complete Dasond and continue joining the Jamat where the Lord is always present.

Vīrā hete prīte amīras pijo, velā gatmājāī; Gurnar beu jāher āviyā, partak beṭhābhāī; terā

English meaning: O brother! go to Jamat Khana early and partake of the nectar with love and affection. O brother! Both Pir and Shah sit in manifestation.

English meaning: O Momin brother, listen! Sayyid Imam Shah (r.a.) says: O vigilant folks! Keep awake; the Nūr is manifest.
