Biography
Usually identified with Miran Sayyid Khan, this missionary-poet worked across Gujarat and the Deccan during the sixteenth century. Tradition remembers him as an itinerant teacher who served scattered communities from Surat to Burhanpur. His exact birth year is not securely preserved; accounts place his death around 1572.
