Biography
Pir Satgur Nur is remembered in tradition as the earliest Pir to establish the Satpanth mission in Gujarat. Narratives of his encounter with the ruler Siddharaj Jayasimha place his work in the early medieval period, where he taught through local idiom and public demonstration. The surviving historical record does not establish exact birth and death years, so the dates remain traditional rather than certain.
